First Cloud Browser In the Works

cloudsThe many security issues that are currently bugging the many web browsers mainly due to their links to the most popular Operating System Windows can be addressed by taking the browser into the cloud. That was an idea that a new start-up is trying to bring out, a browser that exists in the cloud or in the data center with usage making a call to the application and service is given. This way, the developer maintains control and is always maintaining only one copy of the browser, the one that exists in the cloud. No several million browser installations to patch, just one plain and simple update and you’re done. This may be a sign of things to come for the move towards the cloud is indeed underway with Google and other industry giants slowly releasing systems based on the said architecture. The design of a cloud-based application is very much similar to the distributed systems of the days when mainframes ruled the day. The only difference, the program is floating or is loosely located within a data center with no specific server being the sole host. Simple, secure and cheaper that having to support millions of users with each and every update.
